Listen very closely. The audio kind of sucks.
Did President Barack Obama just say that Medical Cannabis is between a patient and a doctor?
On a recent trip to Minnesota at a Town Hall style meeting in Lower Hannah’s Bend Park, President Barack Obama was taking some questions. One woman prompted with a question about Medical Cannabis. Her question was,
“If you can’t legalize marijuana, why can’t we just legalize medical marijuana, to help the people that need it?”
Obama responded:
“Well, you know, a lot of states are making decisions about medical marijuana. As a controlled substance, the issue then is, you know, is it being prescribed by a doctor, as opposed to, you know — well — I’ll — I’ll — I’ll — I’ll leave it at that.”
The President stammered his thoughts about how he thinks it should be a decision between a patient and their prescribing doctor. The next question raised was about the term “ObamaCare.” The President thinks it is a flattering term, because “He Does Care.”
If you do care so much Mr. President, would you please actually show that you care to help me and the other medical cannabis patients in states which allow it’s administration for relief and medical benefits?
